Founded by the Monmouth County Arts Council in 1979, the Annual Juried Art Exhibition has been a core part of the Monmouth Museum for more than forty years. Since the Museum took full sponsorship in 2011, the exhibition has expanded significantly, drawing regional, national, and international submissions.

​"A time within a time"

​This year’s theme, A Time Within a Time, invites artists to reflect on the many layers of experience that shape our lives. Chosen by Juror Monica S. Camin, the theme explores the moments that sit inside other moments, the memories that define us, and the ways we understand the passage of time. Artists were encouraged to think deeply about the relationship between past, present, and future, as well as the transformations, emotions, and histories that live inside these timelines.

Monmouth Museum proudly continues this long-standing tradition, supporting both emerging and established artists while encouraging bold ideas and new perspectives.
