My mixed media painting pays tribute to the street artists who transformed the Lower East Side into vibrant, open-air galleries. The piece blends recycled aluminum from Nespresso caps with layered collage techniques. In the foreground, a bold and colorful ‘LOVE’ stands out, while the background reveals intricate collage details that reference the neighborhood’s rich history—including the Tenement Museum on Orchard Street, Essex Market, and Katz’s Delicatessen.
